Report of the World Commission on Culture and Development : resolution / adopted by the General Assembly.

Requests the Secretary-General, in cooperation with the Director-General of Unesco, to stimulate further international debate on culture and development; encourages the General Conference of Unesco at its 29th session in 1997 to discuss the report further, taking into account the view, comments and proposals submitted by member States; requests the Secretary-General, in cooperation with Unesco to compile a report on culture and development for the consideration of the General Assembly at its 53rd session.
