Résumé
Welcomes the measures undertaken by the organizations of the UN system to implement resolution 49/106, and calls upon those organizations to continue to conduct analytical activities and to provide policy advice and technical assistance to the economies in transition on the social and political framework for economic and market reforms, in particular in regard to the development of the necessary conditions for attracting foreign investments; requests the Secretary-General to submit a report on the implementation of the present resolution to the General Assembly at its 53rd session.
