Transmits letter from the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation proposing that an international criminal tribunal of Burundi be established to punish crimes of genocide perpetrated prior to and during 1993, requesting that UN transmit to the Government of Burundi all direct proof and circumstancial evidence available to the International Commission of Inquiry on the assassination of President Ndadaye and on the acts of genocide against the Tutsi minority, and requesting material and financial assistance from UN to strengthen the capacity of the country's Ministry of Justice.
