摘要
Statement made on behalf of the Security Council, at the 3687th meeting, 8 Aug. 1996, in connection with prior consultations held among Council members on the item entitled "The situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina" (letter from the Secretary-General (S/1996/542) and letter from the President of the International Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (S/1996/556)); stresses the importance of the forthcoming elections in Bosnia and Herzegovina, to be carried out in accordance with the General Framework Agreement for Peace in Bosnia and Herzegovina (S/1995/999, annex); calls upon Federation partners to accelerate their efforts for a fully functioning Federation and demands the cooperation of all parties in the immediate execution of all warrants of arrest and the transfer of all persons indicted to the Tribunal / President, Security Council.

Statement submitted on behalf of the Security Council, 3687th meeting, 8 Aug. 1996, in connection with the Council's consideration of the item entitled "The situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina". Expresses the Council's full support for the conclusiones reached at the Peace Implementation Council; condemns any threat directed against inaternational personnel in Bosnia and Herzegovina; and reiterates its full support for the High Representative.
