Résumé
Decides to appropriate to the Special Account for the International Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of the Former Yugoslavia since 1991 a total amount of US$31,070,572 for the period from 1 Apr.-31 Dec. 1996; requests the Secretary-General to report fully on both the receipt and the application of extrabudgetary funds when preparing future budget proposals for the International Tribunal so as to ensure transparency with regard to the purpose and use of such funds; also requests the Secretary-General to entrust the Office of Internal Oversight Services with undertaking an inspection of the International Tribunal, with a view to identifying problems and recommending measures to enhance the efficient utilization of resources.
