Statement made on behalf of the Security Council, at the 3674th meeting, 14 June 1996, in connection with prior consultations held among Council members on the item entitled "The situation between Iraq and Kuwait"; condemns the failure of Iraq to comply with resolution 1060 (1996); demands that Iraq allow the Special Commission inspection teams immediate, unconditional and unrestricted access to all areas, facilities, equipment, records and means of transportation which they wish to inspect and requests the Chairman of the Special Commission to visit Baghdad with a view to achieving this / President, Security Council.
