Question of a draft optional protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child on the sale of children, child prostitution and child pornography, and the basic measures needed for their prevention and eradication.

Authorizes the open-ended inter-sessional working group of the Commission on Human Rights for the elaboration of guidelines on a possible optional protocol on the sale of children, child prostitution and child pornography to elaborate a draft optional protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child on the sale of children, child prostitution and child pornography, and to meet for 2 weeks before the 52nd session of the Commission on Human Rights; requests the Secretary-General to provide the working group with all the necessary assistance to enable it to meet and to fulfil its task.
