Statement made on behalf of the Security Council at the 3421st meeting, 2 Sept. 1994, in connection with prior consultations held among Council members on the item entitled "The situation in the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina"; expresses concern over the continuing reports of acts of ethnic cleansing by the Bosnian Serb party in the Bijeljina area; calls for the early release of all detainees; calls for the delegates of ICRC to be granted access to all detainees in the Bijeljina area; and expresses concern over restrictions on access to Sarajevo both to UN and Red Cross personnel / President, Security Council.
