Summary
Demands that the Libyan Government immediately comply with resolutions 731 and 748 (1992); decides the following: that all States in which there are funds or other financial resources owned or controlled, directly or indirectly, by the Libyan Government, or by any Libyan undertaking, shall freeze such funds so that they are not made available; that the measures imposed above do not apply to funds derived from the sale or supply of petroleum or petroleum products, agricultural products or commodities, provided that such funds are paid into separate bank accounts exclusively for these funds; that States shall prohibit provision to Libya of items listed in the annex to this resolution for the purpose of refining and exporting petroleum; that, States shall require the immediate closure of Libyan Arab Airlines offices within their territories; prohibit arrangements for: (i) making available, for operation within Libya, of any aircraft or aircraft components, or (ii) the provision of engineering or maintenance servicing of any aircraft or aircraft components within Libya; prohibit the supply of materials for Libyan civilian or military airfields and associated facilities and equipment, except emergency equipment and that directly related to civilian air traffic control; prohibit the training of Libyan pilots and other airlines personnel; prohibit insurance for Libyan aircraft.
