Summary
Requests the Secretary-General to appoint, within existing resources, a fact-finding expert mission for Croatia to assess the extent of war damage and its consequences for the country's infrastructure, resources, environment and individuals, and to consider the needs in order to assist the Government of Croatia in preparing a programme for the rehabilitation, reconstruction and development of Croatia, and to introduce, if appropriate, an international appeal for its funding; reaffirms its appeal to all States, regional, intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations and other relevant bodies to provide cooperation in various forms and special and other assistance, in particular in the most severely affected areas, with a view to facilitating peaceful reintegration through the programme of reconstruction and development.
