Calls upon States to agree to a moratorium on the export of anti-personnel landmines that pose grave dangers to civilian populations; urges States to implement such a moratorium; requests the Secretary-General to prepare a report concerning progress on this initiative, including possible recommendations regarding further appropriate measures to limit the export of anti-personnel landmines, and to submit it to the General Assembly at its 49th session under the item entitled "General and complete disarmament".
