Questions of American Samoa, Anguilla, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Guam, Montserrat, Tokelau, Turks and Caicos Islands and United States Virgin Islands : resolutions / adopted by the General Assembly.

Urges the administering Power to continue to intensify and expand its programme of aid in order to accelerate the development of the economic and social infrastructure of the Territory; reiterates its call upon the administering Power to take the necessary steps to facilitate the readmission of Montserrat as an associate member of UNESCO; requests the administering Power to secure the assistance of the specialized agencies and other organizations of the UN system, as well as regional and other multilateral financial institutions, in the strengthening, development and diversification of the economy of Montserrat; notes with regret that a period of 9 years has elapsed since a UN mission visited the Territory.
