Summary
Expresses its appreciation to the Governments of Finland, Germany, Japan, Sweden, the USSR and the United States for inviting the 1990 fellows to study selected activities in the field of disarmament, thereby contributing to the fulfilment of the overall objectives of the programme; notes that, within the framework of the programme, the Secretary-General organized a regional disarmament workshop for Africa in April 1989 at Lagos and that preparations are under way to organize a similar disarmament workshop for the Asia and Pacific region in the early part of 1991, to be held at Bandung, Indonesia.
