Reaffirms that the Conference on Disarmament plays a vital role in the field of disarmament for the world community; reaffirms also its support for the efforts of the Conference on Disarmament in fulfilling its tasks, and calls upon all Conference members and observer States to contribute as effectively as possible to this end; requests the Conference on Disarmament to continue and to intensify its work on the various substantive items on its agenda.
