Summary
Requests the Disarmament Commission to meet for a period not exceeding 4 weeks during 1989 and to submit a substantive report, containing specific recommendations on the items included in its agenda, to the General Assembly at its 44th session; requests the Secretary-General to transmit to the Disarmament Commission the special and annual reports of the Conference on Disarmament, together with all the official records of the 15th special session and the 43rd session of the General Assembly relating to disarmament matters, and to render all assistance that the Commission may require for implementing the resolution.
