Decides that the UN Council for Namibia, in the discharge of its responsibilities as the legal Administering Authority for Namibia until independence, shall: (a) continue to mobilize international support in order to press for the speedy withdrawal of the illegal South African administration from Namibia in accordance with the resolutions of the UN relating to Namibia; (b) counter the policies of South Africa against the Namibian people and the UN, as well as against the UN Council for Namibia as legal Administering Authority for Namibia; (c) denounce and seek the rejection by all States of all kinds of schemes through which South Africa attempts to perpetuate its illegal presence in Namibia; (d) ensure non-recognition of any administration or entity installed in Namibia not ensuing from free elections conducted under the supervision and control of the UN; (e) make a concerted effort to counter the attempts to establish "linkage" or "parallelism" between the independence of Namibia and extraneous issues, such as the withdrawal of Cuban forces from Angola; consult regularly with the leaders of SWAPO; take measures to ensure the closure of the so-called information offices created by the South African regime; contact institutions and municipalities to encourage them to divest themselves of their investments in Namibia and South Africa.
