Review of the implementation of the recommendations and decisions adopted by the General Assembly at its 10th special session : resolutions / adopted by the General Assembly.

Invites all States, in carrying out appropriate measures at the local level on the occasion of Disarmament Week, to take into account the elements of the model programme for Disarmament Week prepared by the Secretary-General; invites Governments to continue to inform the Secretary-General of activities undertaken to promote the objectives of Disarmament Week; invites the relevant specialized and other agencies to intensify activities, within their areas of competence, to disseminate information on the consequences of the arms race, especially the nuclear-arms race, and requests them to inform the Secretary-General accordingly; invites the Secretary-General to use the UN information organs as widely as possible to promote better understanding among the world public of disarmament problems and the objectives of Disarmament Week.
