Summary
Invites all States and regional institutions associated with regional disarmament efforts to report thereon to the Secretary-General; requests the UN to lend its assistance to States and regional institutions that may request it, with a view to the institution of measures within the framework of an effort of regional disarmament; requests the Secretary-General to keep the General Assembly regularly informed of the implementation of resolutions on regional disarmament and of the activities which the Secretariat, in particular the Department of Disarmament Affairs, and the UN Institute for Disarmament Research are conducting in the field of regional disarmament.
