Requests the UN Council for Namibia, in co-operation with the Department of Public Information of the Secretariat and in consultation with SWAPO: to continue to consider effective ways and means of increasing the dissemination of information relating to Namibia in order to intensify the international campaign in favour of the cause of Namibia; to focus its activities towards greater mobilization of public opinion in Western countries; to intensify the international campaign for the imposition of comprehensive and mandatory sanctions against South Africa; to organize an international campaign to boycott products from Namibia and South Africa; to prepare and disseminate publications on the political, economic, military and social consequences of the illegal occupation of Namibia; to produce and disseminate radio programmes designed to counter the hostile propaganda and disinformation campaign of the racist régime of South Africa; to ensure full coverage through advertisements in newspapers and magazines, press releases, press conferences and press briefings of all activities of the UN regarding Namibia; to produce and disseminate, on a weekly basis, an information newsletter containing updated information on developments in and relating to Namibia, in support of the Namibian cause; to acquire books, pamphlets and other materials relating to Namibia for dissemination; to prepare, in consultation with SWAPO, a list of Namibian political prisoners; to assist SWAPO in the production and distribution of material on Namibia.
