Summary
Strongly condemns the racist régime of South Africa for the installation of a so-called interim government in Namibia on 17 June 1985, in defiance of resolutions and decisions of the UN, declares this measure null and void; urgently requests the Security Council to set a date not later than 31 Dec. 1987 for the commencement of the implementation of its resolution 435 (1978).
