Summary
Reaffirms the value of UN disarmament studies and the need for a thorough appraisal of the subject; invites those Member States that have not yet done so to communicate to the Secretary-General, by 1 Apr. 1987, their views and proposals on how the work of the UN in the field of disarmament studies can be further improved; requests the Secretary-General to transmit the replies received in 1987 to the Advisory Board of Disarmament Studies and to the General Assembly at its 42nd session.
