Decides to increase the membership of the UN Scientific Committee on the Effects of Atomic Radiation to a maximum of 21; invites the People's Republic of China to become a member of the Scientific Committee, requesting the Government of that country to designate one scientist, with alternates and consultants as appropriate, to be its representative in the Committee.
