摘要
Stresses the important role of the mass media in acquainting the world with the aims of Disarmament Week and measures undertaken within its framework; recommends to all States that they observe Disarmament Week in 1986 in close connection with the celebration of the International Year of Peace; invites all States, in carrying out appropriate measures at the local level on the occasion of Disarmament Week, to take into account the elements of the model programme for Disarmament Week, prepared by the Secretary-General.
