Summary
Urges all Governments in formulating their policies in the field of disarmament, to take into account the main demands of the mass peace and disarmament movements; recommends the carrying out of the Campaign in accordance with the proclamation by the General Assembly of 1986 as the International Year of Peace; invite Member States to co-operate with the UN to ensure a better flow of accurate information with regard to the various aspects of disarmament; requests the Secretary-General, in implementing the programme of activities of the Campaign, to give wider publicity to the work of the General Assembly in the field of disarmament.
