Summary
Decides that all States shall: deny permission to any aircraft to take off from, land in, or overfly their territory if it is bound for or has taken off from Haiti, with the exception of regularly scheduled commercial passenger flights; prevent the entry into their territories of all officers of the Haitian military and their immediate families unless their entry has been approved; freeze all funds and financial resources of persons referred to above; decides that the provisions set forth below consistent with the embargo recommended by OAS, shall take effect by 21 May 1994; decides that all States shall prevent: the import into their territories of commodities and products originating in Haiti; the sale of any commodities or products to Haiti except for: medical supplies and foodstuffs, humanitarian products, petroleum or petroleum products, and informational materials; decides to prohibit all traffic from entering or leaving the territory or territorial sea of Haiti carrying commodities or products prohibited under this resolution; calls upon all States, including States not members of UN, to obey the provisions of this and all earlier relevant resolutions; decides that, until the return of the democratically elected President, it will keep under continuous review, all measures in the present and earlier relevant resolutions.
