Summary
Urges all Governments to promote widespread dissemination at all levels of the Rio Declaration on Environment and Development; requests the Secretary-General to ensure that the Declaration is widely disseminated by the competent organs and bodies of the UN system and to continue to ensure that its principles are incorporated in their programmes and processes, in accordance with paragraphs 32 and 42 of chapter I of the report of the Commission on Sustainable Development on its 1st session.
