Multisectoral collaboration on tobacco or health.
Summary
Commends the Secretary-General for acting promptly to establish within UNCTAD the focal point requested by the Economic and Social Council in its resolution 1993/79; requests the Secretary-General to continue the process of consultations with international organizations and Member States with a view to the development of national plans of action, when requested, for the implementation of the tobacco or health objectives of Council resolution 1993/79; further requests the Secretary-General to coordinate the implementation of World Health Assembly resolution WHA46.8.
