Summary
Approves the expansion of MINURSO as proposed in paragraphs 17 to 19 of the Secretary-General's report; expects to be able to confirm 1 June 1995 as the date for the start of the transitional period, with a view to holding the referendum in Oct. 1995 and to bringing the mission to a successful conclusion shortly thereafter, in accordance with the Settlement Plan; also decides to consider the possible extension of the mandate of MINURSO after 31 May 1995 on the basis of a further report from the Secretary-General and in the light of progress achieved towards the holding of the referendum and the implementation of the Settlement Plan.
