Further to Secretary-General's letter of 22 Apr. 2018 on the reconfiguration of the United Nations Interim Security Force for Abyei (UNISFA) mandate and to Security Council resolution 2416 (2018), provides recommendations for adjusting UNISFA to the current realities on the ground so as best to serve the border communities of the Sudan and South Sudan, including in Abyei.
