Urges ECLAC to continue broadening and deepening its coordination and mutual support activities with the Latin American Economic System; urges UNDP to strengthen and broaden its support to the programmes that the Permanent Secretariat of the Latin American Economic System is carrying out; urges the specialized agencies and other organizations and programmes of the UN system to continue and intensify their support for and cooperation with the activities of the Latin American Economic System; requests both the Secretary-General of UN and the Permanent Secretary of the Latin American Economic System to assess the implementation of the Agreement between UN and the Latin American Economic System, and to report to the General Assembly thereon at its 48th session.
