Examination of the status of international cooperation against the illicit production, sale, demand, traffic and distribution of narcotics and psychotropic substances : resolution / adopted by the General Assembly.

Decides to hold 4 plenary meetings, at a high level, at its 48th session, to examine urgently the status of international cooperation against the illicit production, sale, demand, traffic and distribution of narcotics and psychotropic substances; requests the Secretary-General to take the necessary steps to implement the present resolution; requests the Secretary-General to present, at the next regular session of the Commission on Narcotic Drugs, an evaluation report containing recommendations on measures to be taken with regard to paragraph 1 of the present resolution.
