Decides that the international community and UN should give the highest priority to programmes for combating racial discrimination and apartheid during the latter part of the 2nd Decade; encourages the Coordinator for the 2nd Decade to continue his efforts; requests the Secretary-General to continue to accord special attention to the situation of migrant workers and their families; calls upon all Member States to consider signing and ratifying or acceding to the international Convention on the Protection of the Rights of All Migrant Workers and Members of Their Families; requests the Secretary-General to continue the study on the effects of racial discrimination on the children of minorities; requests the Secretary-General to finalize the draft model legislation for guidance of Governments in enactment of further legislation against racial discrimination and to publish and distribute the text as soon as possible; invites Unesco to expedite the preparation of teaching materials on human rights; requests the Secretary-General to accord highest priority to activities of the programme of action for the 2nd decade; requests the Secretary-General to ensure that the necessary resources are included in the programme budget for the biennium 1992-1993 to provide for implementation of the activities of the 2nd Decade; calls upon Governments to maintain pressure against South Africa; strongly appeals to all in a position to do so to contribute generously to the Trust Fund.
