Calls for the implementation of the guidelines for further planning and suitable follow-up in the field of youth; recommends that the Secretary-General continue to direct the attention of the competent UN bodies and specialized agencies to the need for continued coordination and information in the field of youth; decides to consider at its 1st regular session of 1988 practical ways and means for improving coordination and information in the field of youth, on the basis of a specific report of the Secretary-General, under the item entitled "Social development".
