Summary
Considers that the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (Serbia and Montenegro) cannot continue automatically the membership of the former Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia in UN; and therefore decides that the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (Serbia and Montenegro) should apply for membership in UN and that it shall not participate in the work of the General Assembly; takes note of the intention of the Security Council to consider the matter again before the end of the main part of the 47th session of the General Assembly.
