Summary
Calls upon Governments and intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations to provide financial and other support to the UN African Institute for the Prevention of Crime and the Treatment of Offenders in the fulfilment of its objectives, particularly those concerning training, technical assistance, policy guidance, research and data collection; requests the Secretary-General to ensure that sufficient resources are provided to the Institute within the overall appropriations of the programme budget for the biennium 1992-1993 to enable the Institute to carry out in full and on time, all its mandates.
