Summary
Adopts the Principles for the Protection of Persons with Mental Illness and for the Improvement of Mental Health Care, the text of which is contained in the annex to the present resolution; requests the Secretary-General to include the text of the Principles, together with the introduction, in the next edition of the publication entitled "Human Rights: A Compilation of International Instruments"; requests the Secretary-General to give the Principles the widest possible dissemination.
