Summary
Reaffirms the importance of the principle of permanent sovereignty over natural resources; encourages the Department of Technical Cooperation for Development of the Secretariat to play an active role in providing advisory services to Governments, at their request, to support them in exercising their inalienable right of permanent sovereignty over their natural resources; encourages the UN Centre on Transnational Corporations to provide information and analyses to Governments, at their request, aimed at strengthening their capabilities, based on the principle of permanent sovereignty over natural resources.
