Summary
Decides to increase the membership of the Commission on Narcotic Drugs from 40 to 53, the 13 new seats being distributed among the regional groups as follows: (a) 4 seats for African States; (b) 3 seats for Asian States; (c) 1 seat for Eastern European States; (d) 3 seats for Latin American and Caribbean States; (e) 1 seat for Western European and other States; (f) 1 seat to rotate between the Asian States and the Latin American and Caribbean States every 4 years; decides to fill the 13 new seats resulting from the increase in the membership of the Commission at its organizational session of 1992.
