Emphasizes the obligations of all organizations of the UN common system to consult and cooperate fully with ICSC and the UN Joint Staff Pension Board on matters relating to conditions of service and pensions; requests ICSC and the UN Joint Staff Pension Board to examine the basis for the decisions taken by ITU and ILO and their implications for the common system, within the context of their respective relevant work programmes, and to report thereon to the General Assembly at its 46th session; requests ICSC and the UN Joint Staff Pension Board to place the highest priority on ensuring that the reports requested by the General Assembly in its resolution 45/241 on the UN common system and in its resolution 45/242 on the UN pension system are available for full consideration by the Assembly at its 46th session; reiterates its appeal to the organization of the UN common system to refrain from seeking to establish for their staff, whether by provisions in their staff regulations or by other means, additional entitlements and benefits, as such actions would be detrimental to the UN common system under which all staff should receive equal treatment, irrespective of their employing organizations; requests the Secretary-General, in his capacity as Chairman of the Administrative Committee on Coordination, to urge all the executive heads of the organizations of the UN common system to cooperate fully with ICSC in the discharge of its responsibilities under article 1 of its statute.
