Requests UNCTAD to continue and intensify its important contribution and the role it has been playing in the revitalization and strengthening of international trade and related areas of international economic co-operation for development; calls upon all Governments and the relevant international organizations to commence intensive and thorough preparations for the 7th session of the UNCTAD.
