Summary
Calls upon the Secretary-General to help Iraq and Kuwait demarcate the boundary between them; requests the Secretary-General to submit a plan for the deployment of a UN observer unit to monitor the Khor Abdullah and a demilitarized zone; decides that Iraq shall accept the destruction of all its chemical and biological weapons and of its ballistic missiles with a range greater than 150 kilometres; decides to form a Special Commission which shall carry out immediate on-site inspections of Iraq's biological, chemical and missile capabilities based on Iraq's declarations and the designation of any additional locations by the Special Commission itself; decides that Iraq is liable under international law for any direct loss, damage, including environmental damage and the depletion of natural resources, or injury to foreign Governments, nationals and corporations, as a result of Iraq's unlawful invasion and occupation of Kuwait; decides to establish a fund to pay compensation for claims; decides that the sale of foodstuffs and supplies for essential civilian needs shall not be prohibited; decides to prohibit the sale of arms related matériel to Iraq; decides that Iraq shall facilitate the repatriation of foreign nationals; requires Iraq to inform the UN that it will not support terrorism.
