Reaffirms that co-operation among all nations should be based on respect for the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of each State, including the right of each people to choose freely its own socio-economic and political system; emphasizes the important contribution of the UN System in responding to the particular needs of the developing countries, and stresses in this context the need to strengthen multilateral co-operation for development, including increased voluntary contributions to operational activities for development of the UN System; urges all Member States to continue in a constructive spirit and in good faith the negotiations initiated in the UN System or international economic issues and to bring them to a successful end by reaching mutually acceptable and just solutions in accordance with the objectives agreed upon,.
