Calls upon all States, governmental and non-governmental organizations, interested bodies of the UN as well as the specialized agencies to pay continuous attention, by further planning and suitable follow-up in the field of youth, and to the implementation of General Assembly resolutions 36/29, 37/49, 38/23 and 39/23; requests the Commission for Social Development to pay adequate attention to the enjoyment by youth of human rights, particularly the right to education and to work.
