Financing of the United Nations Disengagement Observer Force : resolution / adopted by the General Assembly.

Decides to appropriate to the Special Account the amount of US$20,208,000 for the operation of UNDOF for the period from 1 June to 30 Nov. 1990, inclusive; decides also to appropriate to the Special Account an amount of $20,679,000 for the operation of UNDOF for the period from 1 Dec. 1990 to 31 May 1991, inclusive; decides further, as an ad hoc arrangement, to apportion the amount of 20,679,000 dollars for the above-mentioned period among Member States, in accordance with the composition of groups set out in paragraphs 3 and 5 of General Assembly resolution 43/232 of 1 Mar. 1989, as adjusted by the Assembly in its resolution 44/192 B of 21 Dec. 1989, and taking into account the scale of assessments for the years 1989, 1990 and 1991; authorizes the Secretary-General to enter into commitments for UNDOF at a rate not to exceed $3,446,500 per month for the period from 1 June to 30 Nov. 1991, inclusive, should the Security Council decide to continue the Force beyond the period of 6 months authorized under its resolution 679 (1990); decides that Liechtenstein and Namibia shall be included in the group of Member States set out in paragraph 3 (b) and 3 (d), respectively of General Assembly resolution 43/232 and that their contribution to UNDOF shall be calculated in accordance with the provisions of the resolution; invites voluntary contributions to UNDOF in cash and in the form of services and supplies acceptable to the Secretary-General.
